The incumbent will work on various assignments responsible for controlling the following activities county wide: loan sharking, labor racketeering, corruption, extortion and bribes, theft/fencing rings, illegal sale and distribution of liquor and tobacco, illegal safe and distribution of controlled substances, illegal gambling operations, prostitution, pornography, firearm offenses, and related criminal activity. The main function of the Unit that the incumbent will be assigned is vice and organized crime control and enforcement. The unit is under the direct supervision of a Lieutenant and/or Sergeant - Law Enforcement assigned to the Vice & Organized Crime Unit.
